HOKKAIDO KOMAGATAKE ERUPTION

 In the early morning of the seventh, a seismometer records volcanic- related tremors.
 There are no significant changes reported as of 1 p.m. The evacuation warning is
 lifted for all areas, but team in Mori will continue to track Konagatake and keep
 nearby communities abreast of the situations.
 Sapporo Meteorological Agency on March 7th, 11:00 a.m. issued a statement -at 3:53 a.m.
 volcanic tremor felt. Subterranean movement of the magma has not been noted since March 5.
 At 10:00 a.m., the observation team in Mori reports white smoke rising 400m.



11:00...The team in Mori issues its third statement saying white smoke can be seen 400m
         above Komagatake and summarizing all of Komagatake's activity since the 5th.
         Volcanic tremor : 6th 1 time 7th (midnight-14:00) 1 time March 1st to 7th 7 times
        (total) subterranean shifting 5th 18:00 - (none reported) 
15:00...The team in Mori issues its fourth statement; Shikabe reports : 14:30 In 1929
         white smoke rose 200m above crater. white smoke rose 100m above crevice.
         Both blowing in a southeasterly direction.
17:30...Of the two origins of smoke one is emitting white smoke, and the other is emitting
         gray smoke.
